Khwaja Yunus Ali University

Khwaja Yunus Ali University is a private university at Enayetpur in Sirajganj. It is named after the Sufi saint Khwaja Yunus Ali, known as Enayetpuri, and sits in the Rajshahi division. The Ulkaa Edu Rank 2027 places Khwaja Yunus Ali University in the 41-50 band. The position is computed from the published methodology. UGC figures record 1,373 students (2023) and 102 teachers, 25 of them with a PhD (2023).

The Ulkaa Edu Rank draws on indicators such as first-year intake, research output and citations per work, the share of teachers with a PhD, students per teacher and recognition in QS and THE tables. Each indicator has a published weight and a stated data year, so a band is a summary of public data and not a verdict on any one programme.

The university was set up under the Private University Act and is recognised by the University Grants Commission. Its Chancellor is the President of Bangladesh, as with other private universities. Its motto is "Quest for knowledge".

Khwaja Yunus Ali University admits students at the undergraduate level for the programmes listed on its official website (http://www.kyau.edu.bd). UGC data records 484 new admissions in 2023. Entry requirements, test dates, seat numbers and deadlines change every session, so confirm them with the admissions office or the official notice before you apply. Applicants generally need an HSC or equivalent result. Before you apply, compare the programme you want against the current UGC and accreditation information, ask the department about class schedules and lab access, and visit the campus if you can. Tuition and other costs are not covered on this page, so ask the admissions office for the current fee schedule.

Teaching is organised in five faculties: Science and Engineering, Business Studies, Bio-medical Science, Human Science and Law. Both undergraduate and graduate programmes are offered. Ulkaa records two programmes with accreditation data for 2026. Details of each degree are on the official website.

In Science and Engineering the undergraduate list includes computer science and engineering, information and communication technology, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechatronics and micromechatronics engineering. Bio-medical Science offers pharmacy, microbiology, and biochemistry and biotechnology. Human Science offers library and information science, English and Islamic studies. At graduate level Wikipedia lists the MBA and EMBA, an MSc in mechatronics and micromechatronics engineering, an MS in medical physics, an MA in English language teaching and the LLM.
