Chandpur Science and Technology University

Chandpur Science and Technology University, shortened to CSTU, is a public university in Chandpur, in the Chattogram division. According to Wikipedia it was established in 2021 under an act of Parliament, and Ulkaa records the same year.

The university has no position in the Ulkaa Edu Rank 2027. It is a new institution with only a short run of public data: UGC figures record 180 students and 9 teachers in 2023, with 90 new admissions that year and the same number in 2022. Ulkaa has no research record, no accreditation data and no QS or THE entry for it. When more years of public data exist, a position can follow.

Wikipedia says the university was established in 2021 under the Chandpur Science and Technology University Act 2019. The cabinet approved the draft bill on 23 December 2019, and Parliament passed the bill on 9 September 2020.

UGC counted 90 new admissions in 2022 and 90 in 2023, with 180 students in total in 2023. The teaching staff was 9 in 2023. At this size, a single intake changes the numbers a great deal, so read them as a snapshot.

Chandpur Science and Technology University admits students at the undergraduate level for the departments listed on its official website. As a public university it publishes a circular each session. UGC data records 90 new admissions in 2023. Entry requirements, test dates, seat numbers and deadlines change every session, so confirm them with the admissions office or the current notice before you apply. Applicants generally need an HSC or equivalent result.

Before you apply, compare the programme you want with the current UGC information, ask the department about class schedules and laboratory access, and visit if you can. Tuition and other costs are not covered on this page, so ask the admissions office for the current schedule.

Wikipedia lists two faculties: Science and Engineering, and Business Studies. The active departments it names are Computer Science and Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, and Business Administration.

Ulkaa's programme records for 2027 list the same three bachelor-level programmes: Business Administration, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information and Communication Technology. Ulkaa holds no accreditation data for them. Ask the departments about current approvals and the staff available for each programme before you decide.

Wikipedia gives the temporary campus address as Holding No. 0937-02, Kholishaduli, Wapda Gate, Cumilla Road, Chandpur Sadar, Chandpur 3600. The permanent campus is described as under construction in Lakkhipur Union of Chandpur Sadar, on 60 acres. Because the campus is in transition, ask the university where classes are held today, what laboratory space exists and what hostel arrangements are in place. This page has no verified detail on facilities, so it makes none.
